Ofcourse that is not Logitechs fault. Forcing non-compatible software to install is a user error, not a software error.

Are you referring to the 64-bit kernel? If so, you need to qualify this statement. The 64-bit kernel is NOT enabled by default precisely because most existing third-party drivers will not work with it. It is definitely too early to attack Logitech for lack of 64-bit drivers when so few others have them.

Part of the trick is missing! If you want Expose to work with the mouse or keyboard you must COPY not cut Expose to the Applications Folder.

I've also posted a work-around for the LCC under SN. I don't know about your copying Expose around, but I was able to get Exposé functionality to work without moving Exposé at all. I submitted the hint on Friday, so perhaps it'll be posted soon.

It is worth mentioning that not all components of the Control Center are compatible with 10.6. Specifically, the Installer installs an InputManager (LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader) to /Library/InputManagers/. Since inputmanagers do not work in 64-bit applications, this component will not work with most Apple-provided applications in Snow Leopard. Clearly it is not essential to the functionality of the Logitech drivers, but it does mean that scrolling behavior may be inconsistent between applications.

It's worht mentioning that the LCC was not entirely compatible with Leopard much less SL.
I have a keybaord with custom buttons. The LCC only controls setup for the custom buttons and leaves the Function Keys alone. I ahve custom stuff setup on the Function Keys thru the Sys Prefs. And every version running on 10.5 has broken the Function Key settings. Even this new 3.0 release.
Logitech also won't bother replying to customers complaining of the messed up Mac Control Software they release with their products.
it's fun.

As ever, I must mention SteerMouse as a better alternative to LCC.
No affiliation, etc.

According to Logitech forum, LCC 3.1 should be out.. today. Well, they wrte 2 weeks ago 'out in 2 weeks or sooner'. I tried all solutions, even installing LCC 2.60. It installs correctly, recognizes the mouse but Spaces/Expose is still missing. My problem is that I hope they put new drivers, bus since SL my mouse is losing the left click pretty often. VERY annoying.

Dont use this software IMHO, it can cause serious instability problems !
They are slow to correct problems and have no real idea how to write drivers.

I got back my mouse tracking tracking speeds-MX310- (good for gaming) but spaces still does not work on Quick Switch Button. O Well. At least something happened. heh
